: Thanks Nathan and David for the help. I thought I remembered the 0911
: message being related to heat, but that doesn't apply in this case. The
: computer had only been on for a couple of minutes, and with the cover
: off. I guess I've got a defective chip. Can I just replace the chip or
: do I need an entire motherboard swap?
Oh darnit, what's next? Does the computer still do this? Or was it a
particularly hot day? I have found that moving my monitor away from the
CPU also helps. What other cards were installed in the system when this
happened?
Hope I'm not gonna have to start lookin for a replacement motherboard...
