My horribly vauge question of the day is:
How many of the classic games for the apple ][ and other types
of programms came out in an IBM or MAC version?
I am not saying that we should abandon emulation but if there
are old versions for existing native machines then we don't need
to bother with the old ones.
The reason that my quesiton is directed at the game market is the
following. It seems that games have become like throw away best
sellers. Today's Hot game can be tommorrow's (well maybe a few year's)
trash. Hence some companies don't even bother to sell old versions of
their software or even old games, I believe.
so my question to apple ][-land is how many of the old classical
games are simply unlike anything available today and how many
of them appear today in different versions.
I know that this is a vague topic but as I don't really pay attention
to the game market I hope that a lot of people might give me and
others some of their observations.
Thank you,
David Pollen
