Read the posts and you will know!! Every post that I have seen and replied to
as well as others say the same. With the DeskWritter you CAN NOT print
from 8 bit applications such as Applewoks classic or say from Proterm
or anything that does not use a graphiv interface (8 bit programs). You can
ony print from GS/OS applications. Now the DeskJet you can print from anything
weather its Proterm, Appleworks classic or any GS/OS based application.
Reagardless of which you get you will need to purchase drivers from either
Harmonie of Independace. If I were to recoment a printer, I would tell you
to get the DeskJet, its the same price but you can print from just about
any application that is out there!
