Are you sure about that?  I've used the extension to copy files to
ProDOS disks with Finder, and I'm pretty sure I could access them from
ProDOS-8 (haven't done it for a little while, so I may be
misremembering the details).  The business about writing to ProDOS
volumes from outside Finder is pure hearsay.

OK, but it needs to be online as a ProDOS device, and the Apple SCSI
card will ignore any non-ProDOS partition except for the first
partition on a drive which has no ProDOS partitions at all.
