Re: can a Mac read an Apple II SCSI drive?
In a previous article, dempson@actrix.gen.nz (David Empson) says:

I can back that assertion up with my experience. Not only can't ProDOS 8
delete the files or anything, but neither can Apple File Exchange. I found
out it was because they are forked when I ran ShrinkIt (the IIe/c version)
which reported it couldn't deal with the file because it was forked. Only
files written with the Apple II file system extension were forked, I might
add (it seems like it forks every one, too, but I haven't done extensive
tests yet.) I hate Apple File Exchange so much for the way it writes to
Apple II 3.5" disks that I'm going to try Unforkit on the files the extension
writes rather than use AFE. I'll report the results.
