Just thought I'd share the latest info with the net:

Instead of calling Alltech again and dealing with the sales rep who
doesn't know about the Sequential Systems RAM card, I called SS
themselves.  If you don't call during tech support hours (9-2 daily), you
can reach them on (303) 666-4549.  And this month (actually August, but
they'll stretch it for you) the 4MB card for the //gs is $139 direct. 
They are really nice to deal with; I'm getting a catalog too, so I'll post
any additional info when my order arrives.
