Re: Net piracy? +++

	This whole thread has really disheartened me tremendously. I
figured if there was one place that people would understand the value
and purpose of copyright laws that it would be in the Apple II
community where software is so scarce. I guess there aren't many
places in the world left with morals.
	I can see one of the reasons why programmers have left the
AppleII community and I wonder if I shouldn't do the same. At least
on the IBM and Mac you can still make some money on a program despite
all the piracy. (Granted they aren't as much fun as Apple II's, but
something has to put food on the table.)

Then go ahead and leave. The reason the apple 2 is dying is people
are still trying to make money selling programs for this computer.
I honestly cannot fathom why anyone would try to make a living writing
code on a 65c02 (besides maybe a comunications program)

If the apple2 is truely going to stay alive, there needs to be a concerted
effort to spread free public domain programs around, before the
software base is lost forever....and those pirated games. The authors
have long since made their money off of them, and if they were still
interested in making money, they WOULD find a way to market them
