Well with my ROM 01 currently sitting in a closet (until I have space
for it) and it's 3.5 drive used as a second drive on my ROM 3, I've little
need for such a patch at the moment. :-) I'd be much more interested in a
ROM 3 compatible patch (if one exists _or_ could be written). Another idea
would be ripping the 34 second jazz music and converting it to an rSound.
It'd make a really nice System 6 startup sound! ;-)

Yes, but these were user-demos _included_ with Apple IIgs systems
sold. I'd like to get hold of all the demos Apple Computer distributed to
it's authorized dealers (not users) to display on show room Apple IIGSes.
As for the user-demos, they were as follows (note slightly different names):
"Your Apple Tour of the Apple IIgs" - Released in 1986. Used Pascal operating
system and monochrome Double-Hi-Res //e graphic displays (like MouseDesk). Only
GS-Specific feature was a handful of digitized sound clippings that utiltized
Ensoniq's 8-bit digital sound. Included with all or most ROM 00 and 01 systems.
"Your Tour of the Apple IIgs" - Released around 1988-89. Used GS/OS System 4
operating system and made use of color Super-Hi-Res graphic displays. Also
included some so-so wavetable music and digitized sound effects. Roughly same
idea as original tour, though "games" and other parts using revamped concepts
(ie - rather than the road game, you guided an explorer through caves. At one
point you swat sweaking bats instead of buzzing flies). Included mostly with
ROM 3 GSes, possibily some late ROM 01s before mid 1989.
