There is no difference between the two connectors -- all the important lines
are still there (the DB25 eliminates redundant GNDs).

If anyone is interested in cable swapping, I still have several cables with
DB25-C50 and DB25-DB25, but all my peripherals now have C50 connectors (I'm
badly in need of C50-C50 cables).
