DigiSoft CD Still On Track

Within a few weeks we plan on possibly posting a catalog of the CD, or
at least parts of it, depending on how large the catalog turns out to
be.  Briefly (off the top of my head) there are sections for Bitmap
Fonts, TrueType Fonts, Sounds (binary, rSound, AIFF, etc), Music
(SoundSmith, MCS, DiversiTune, Music Studio, synthLab, etc.), Graphics
(APF, uncompressed, GIF, etc.), Animation, Applications, Desk
Accessories, Finder Extensions, Text Files, AppleWorks, HyperMedia,
and much more.  The predominant focus will be towards the GS, but
there will be some 8-bit stuff on the disc and at least one ProDOS
partition.  Hopefully the CD will start shipping in August.  We will
make plenty of announcements at that time.
 
You can now find CD-ROM drives for $100 (even less in some cases) and
up, so they're starting to become a worthwhile investment.  DiscQuest
is cool, and will only be getting better, and you'll also be able to
use our CD as well, so a drive is worth it in our opinion :-)
