Well, it's my experience that 1.1 is _much_ better than 1.0.

According to my book, "Using AppleWorks GS" the following features
were added:

General New Features:

	* Use of the "new" System 5.0 software, including graphical
Control Panel containing more options than those available
	  with System 4.0 (heh :)

	* A memory test utility that you can run to test the additional
memory you have added to your Apple IIgs

	* Compatibility with the new Apple IIgs computers that come
equipped with 1.25M of memory (ROM 3)

	* An ImageWriter printer driver that increases print speed

	* Faster loading and file access times

	* Ability to use a variety of punctuation marks used primarily
	  in work involving foreign languages

Word Processing Features:

	* There are no new word processing features that involve only
	  word processing

Spreadsheet Features:

	* Three new functions that can be used with either the spreadsheet
or the database applications have been introduced with
AppleWorks GS version 1.1. These functions are:

		Contains, Begins, and Ends

Database Features:

	* The new database features introduces with AppleWorks GS version
	  1.1 include the following:

New functions (Contains, Begins, Ends) for retrieving
		data

A new sample database file that allows you to create
		1-inch mailing labels

A database conversion utility that converts database
files from AppleWorks GS version 1.0 into a format usable
		by AppleWorks GS version 1.1

Graphics Features:

	* The only graphics enhancement (beyond the features common to all
applications) includes the ability to import graphics in 640-mode
	  Apple Preferred Format

Page Layout:

	* The only enhancements made to page layout are those included in
	  "General New Features"

Communications:

	* Because of the inclusion of the printer and modem selection and
setup in the new System 5.0 Control Panel, you no longer choose
the modem type and modem settings from the menus within
	  communications

	* Additionally, another feature enables you to choose whether to
overwrite existing files with incoming files of the same name

Everyone go out and buy version 1.1 now!!
