Hi. Upon going to ftp apple's ftp server to get the system disk for
sys601, I found the all-too-common problem of the file being larger than
my largest available disk drive: 800k, and the file is 812k. Of course,
the disk doesn't have 12k of flexibility, so, aside from downloading it
to my Unix box and then downloading it again using zmodem or something at
2400 baud (read TEN HOURS probably) what's to be done ? Can you compress
it in Unix and then send it?
TY

I have the same problem with ftp.apple.com.
Why doesn't this ftp site have .SHK files anyway????
Is seems to me that to BINSCII these disks is a waste of time for everybody!!!
Could someone explain to me why these files aren't just .SHK.
