laserwrite with pc

I just got a used apple laserwriter and I am trying to use it with my IBM
clone computer.  I am trying to use the RS232 port but I am getting no where
fast.  It does print out it's test page but it won't print out anything I 
send it.  It just sits there and double-flashes its yellow light which I 
think is rather strange.  Is there a special cable that I need?  Can I make
one myself?  What do I do to make it work?  Please help.  L8R...Sean
