I keep my Appleshare username and the sharing setup set up with no password.
Then I log on as the owner of my Mac or as admin on my server w/o a password.
I also have a 4 mb Plus on hand which I'll be using as a full time server
running Appleshare 3.0 when I have the $ to put a server-sized hard disk
on it. All I have to use with it now is a 105 mb which has like 15 mb free
so it's not so useful at the moment. It's handy for booting my spare IIgs which
doesn't have a hard disk though. Takes about seven minutes to boot from the
server on the Plus.

I've never used easyopen. I know that Appleshare lets you save your username
and password so you can automount server volumes so they are on the desktop
without having to log on or anything. I'm mighty sure you can do it with file
sharing too but I don't automount since it makes the IIgs sit there and look
for the server until it times out if I have the IIgs on but don't have the
Mac on.
