It's a high speed SCSI thing. Try switching out the card in the control panel
and see if it does it.
The delay is really long if nothing is connected to the card. The rev C doesn't
do this by the way.

Are you asking whether a IIgs can use a kbd and mouse connected to the port?
The great majority of IIgses work this way. //e upgrades use the same logic
board as regular ol' ROM 01's ya know.
