Indeed, it was for an emulator, and it was a sector skewing problem.  I
managed to detect it by looking at the catalog track (frustratingly enough,
sectors 0 and F were in the right place, so T0S0 looked right and the disks
would APPEAR to catalog correctly, so it wasn't immediately obvious that
something was amiss).  Anyway, I wrote a little conversion program and my
images now work splendidly...  Thanks for responding, though, and I apologize
for misplacing the blame on your tremendously helpful program..!
