Nothing will print...

I just changed my laser printer from Parallel to Serial, so I could use
the GS Printer port. Well, I have the printer hooked up through the following
cables: Mac+ DIN8 to DB9, I have a DB9 gender changer, then a DB9 to
                DB25 going to the printer.

No data is being sent to the printer when I try to print from either a
DeskTop based WP (WriteAway), when I do an 'ls>.ttyb' from GNO, or when
I print from ProTERM 3.1

Here's what I noticed:

DeskTop based WP's: The heading in the window to specify printing
                             resolution says LaserJet/modem
                                                      ^^^^^ this is the part
                                                            I dont understand.
GNO: 'ls>.ttyb' is issued, the computer waits (depeding
on the length of text being dumped, then gives me
my GNO prompt - nothing is sent to the printer.

Anybody know what's going on? I have Slot 1 set to Printer Port via Control
Panel, here's my listing of *:System:Drivers
