Well both would be nice, and many including myself have silently been waiting.
It was never clear what became of the Apple Ethernet card, and in any case
TCP/IP, etc...still isn't done...
I would think that getting TCP/IP, SLIP and/or PPP running over at least
Localtalk would be very important. To have it running on a SCSI based
Ethernet device would be even better.
It seems to me that getting IP services, fax software, AWGS 2.0 and finding
a way to increase the memory available to the Ensoniq, as well as getting
a 640x400 video mode, are very important. One has to be patient. There's no
real rush, as it's not as though the GS has any competition in the world it
exists...
Finally some very interesting software is beginning to take advantage of the
Ensoniq. waveLAB1.0 and MIDI Surgeon are excellent programs. Music Composer
keeps getting better.
I guess what I am trying to say is that many things will happen with the GS,
but you can't place a time frame on them. It's an odd beast.
