Attention GS+ Magazine Subscribers!
The Latest Issue Of GS+ Magazine Is On The Way!
That's right folks! I'm happy to announce that
we've gained yet another week on our publishing
schedule, and the May-June 1994 issue of GS+ Magazine
has just been mailed out!
In this latest issue, you will find reviews of DiscQuest
and Spectrum (plus two other reviews), new installments
in our "Programming the IIGS" and "Working With the
Toolbox" series, a guide to shopping for hard drive
mechanisms, and two brand-new, original IIGS programs.
The first program is an application called More Sound
that lets you modify, add or delete sound events in
the Sound control panel. It's written in ORCA/C and
comes complete with source code.
The second program is an application called FLI Convert.
It allows you to load FLI animations created on an IBM PC,
display them, and then convert them into PaintWorks
animations that can be used with other IIGS programs.
(Of course, FLI Convert can also load and play PaintWorks
animations.) FLI Convert was written in ORCA/C by James
Smith (the same fellow that did a lot of the animations that
come with Twilight II), and comes with complete source
code and several sample FLI animations for you to try out.
So, if you subscribe to GS+ Magazine, watch your mailbox
for this issue! If you don't subscribe to GS+ Magazine,
send me your e-mail address and I'll send you subscription
information!
