Your generalization was far more insulting than others. You just put down
all the students for some thing Joseph said (and what he said wasn't
even wrong).

This is the message Joseph Lee posted, which started this thread:
"Will you please post a description with this post. It's really,
really annoying, when people post binaries without descriptions or
proper credit for the author of the program. You know who you are."
It is not the most polite, but certainly wasn't overly rude.
I dunno what was on Richard's mind, but he took as a very serious
personal flame. I thought Richard over reacted.

Oh yeah, remember the SS2 thread a while back? I wrote that I didn't recommend
it for everybody, and I added some comments on how might SS2 improve.
But you took it as a big presonal flame...
