that serial cable should work fine. (i made my own cable but the pin outs
are supposed to be the same.) i seem to remember that proterm 2.x could do
kermit transfers (arrow down past the 'bottom' of the protocol list -
more selections scroll by.) wuarchive.wustl.edu has an ftp section for hp
calculator programs and stuff. i store the programs on my gs's harddrive
and re-download to the calculator when i accidentally nuke its memory.
