  You obviously don't realise that due to the pipelined design of the 65816,
it is capable of executing instructions up to 4 times faster than other CISC
processors at the same Mhz rating.  So 12 Mhz is not pathetic at all...it is
in fact roughly equivilant to a 40 Mhz PC!  That's nothing to complain about.

  So what else is new?  An obsolete computer does not equal a useless
computer.  If I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a PC, and upgraded the
blasted thing every 6 months just to keep up with the Joneses, then I'd be
seriously out of pocket.  Why bother?  The only programs that make serious
use of the faster PC's are gee-whiz-what-a-waste-of-time-playing games that
gobble up your hard disk faster than you can say "Intel Inside".  If I were
to buy a PC, it would spend 99% of it's time sitting idle because it doesn't
have half as good an OS or window system that GS/OS with GNO/ME provides,
and hence I wouldn't feel inclined to use it.

  Hahahahah.  What a joke.  MS-DOS a serious OS?  It can't even multitask.
Windows NT requires anywhere between 8-16 Mb to run--GS/OS with GNO/ME fits
into as little as 2 Mb.  And windows?  Give me a break, the Macintosh GUI that
the GS uses is much cleaner and debatably better than Windows 3.1.

  At least get your facts straight.  There are still a number of software
AND hardware developers working for the GS, and quite a number of shareware
and freeware authors as well.  The GS is far from losing all support.

  Alas, none of the statements you made could be placed into the category
of fact.  Which rather renders your entire argument null and void, don't
you think?
