There is a very good reason why double hires didn't catch on.  It is 
rather difficult to use.  You have to put every other pixel in Auxiliary 
Memory.  More difficult than fliping a softswitch and ploting in hires.  
It does give you more colors or pixels, but it isn't really worth it.
