That "Green Card Lottery" thing

Remember that stupid "Green Card Lottery" message that went everywhere?
I thought everyone might find this interesting:

Over 5000 of them.

DO NOT do this. Internet Direct is simply a service provider (like
Netcom, a2i, Netsys, etc.), and they've already crashed several times
because of these assholes. The lawyers' account has been shut down
(they're a husband-and-wife firm, btw). They'd already received some
30000 (yes, 30 *thousand*) flames as of Wednesday evening. All this
was reported in today's (Thursday's) San Jose Mercury News.

Follow-ups to alt.sources.d if you must...

Well, give the lawyers some credit: it wasn't a "My name is David Rhodes"
posting. :-)
