 Comp.Binaries.apple2  is simply another newsgroup just like the one that 
you are reading.  Simply join into that specific group and voila! 

 What you will see is a bunch of seemingly random characters completely
filling the screen, line after line after line ....  THESE are the files
themselves.  They are first compressed (ShrinkIt) then processed into 
readable text files (BINSCI, GSCII, ...)  then these now readable text 
files are posted as messages.

So basically, capture all the text in the message(s) run it thru BINSCI 
or GSCII and you end up with a shrinkIt file.  Then use ShrinkIt.

If you need more detailed help than that, please read the Apple FAQ. It 
has EVERYTHING in there. (including FTP locations of these files ...)

In fact I would encourage EVERYONE reading the Apple newsgroups to get 
and at least look over the Apple FAQ
