I think there is a major difference between sector-editing and doing
real programming. A few out here are able to explain the difference to
"Dr. Tom".

believe me, if Tom had written all of 1WSW apps by himself,
even with the help of some friends, it would have taken YEARS to finish
them. Writing programs isn't always fun and takes so much time that I
feel very sorry for the authors of Music Constuction Set, Platinum Paint
et al.

IMO, you will never get the appreciation you deserve for your _own_ work
if you decide to stay in Tom's group.
