MPEG is compressed digital video. Now, consider this: It is possible,
with some tricks, and choppy quality, to do a software MPEG viewer
on an Intel-486 machine.

So, either someone comes out with a multi-$k hardware for the GS to
view MPEGs, or you'll just have to wait for the first MPEG-capable
consoles like the rest of us.
