p.s. -- the VOC was not intended to be used to break copy protection, the
sync cleanup is there for a different reason, namely to stabilize weak video
sources. However the same processing defeats most video copy protection
schemes so naturally Apple doesn't draw much attention to it, which is
smart of them. No need to tempt people to get themselves into legal trouble
with large entertainment companies who have lots of yuppie lawyers like Apple.
