Crying over split milk doesn't do anything unless you have enough
tears to blend out the milk itself.
: Considering that we have some VERY talented programmers that have
: worked VERY HARD on bringing great software packages to the GS
: world... including the amazing MultiGS 2.0.
Uhh... OK, MultiGS v2.0 is a good example (and credit is
given: Very cool, too bad it won't work w/ TelCom, SnowTerm,
GSVT, or any other communication software. Wish it did).
The VAMPS disks aren't. I'm almost sure all of us here in
the "real" II world know that Dr. Toms' little scheme of
super-duper-hyper-turbo sound on the IIGS has got to be one
of the biggest stack of lies i've ever heard of. But, that
doesn't make it wrong to keep releasing musing; what it does
make wrong is to state misinformation.
: Are you ever going to give up on dogging one world and actually
: start supporting the group that wants to support you?
Look, i'm part of Digital Exodus. *WE* support the II world,
and we always will. I do *NOT* want to be part of a group
which states misinformation as if it was the truth; nor
does anyone else around here that i've seen (3 cheers for
Ian).
: Or is this another "Joe Kohn says it isn't good, so it must not be!"
BWHAHAHAHA... Joe Kohn seems to have many problems; as do I.
: Well, if Joe hates one world, he can get his paranoid self to say
: why the group is bad... he hates Dr. Tom, but he hates the group
: because of Tom, even though they have nothing to do with what he
: does...
Hmm... Point taken.
: Give it a rest folks, and let's start supporting this computer
: instead of making all the people that like it leave!!!
I like it; i've liked it since 1989. I don't plan on leaving
it until someone take it out of my room and destroys it with
a large flat object of about 2 tons. I'm not leaving because
I don't like Dr. Tom and his proposed lies. Lemme put it this
way: No one is forcing anyone to download the VAMPS disks.
If you choose to download them, hey, no one is forcing you to
like it or not. I downloaded them to see if they had any cool
music on there (out of 35 VAMPS disks, I only found *ONE* song
which was cool, but that's not the point). 'K? I don't plan
on leaving the ENTIRE II world due to Dr. Tom and his lies (ya,
I use the term 'lies' because it's the correct term to use).
That'd be ludacriss, don't you think so? Really, Auri, sit down
and think about it. Do you *REALLY* want to be part of a group
which CLAIMS to be able to do surround sound + vertical-move-
ment-based sound; but *ALL* of you know that it's a bunch of
B.S.? That seems like a crazy decision (to *ME*), but if you want
to, hey, by all means, you have that right.
I hope sometime you relax on your opinion, thou, man. Just because
we know it's a bunch of ---- doesn't mean we have to stop liking
everything. I mean, sheesh, it's like saying "Oh this new MOD
player sucks because Dr. Tom says it does surround sound + vertical
movement-based sound, but it doesn't! Screw it! I'm dropping
the ENTIRE II line for this!" - I have yet to see someone who has
done this. :-/ If there is such a soul, I would recommend they
EMail me with a long explaination on why they left due to this
cause. :-)
There, you now have my $.02 worth.
