Having just acquired a Chinook CT-20c, here's a question :
The innards involve a smartport translator which outputs a standard
50-pin SCSI connector. The drive in the unit is a standard Miniscribe
20 meg scsi drive ... just like Apple shipped in zillions of Mac SE's.
Is this drive replacable by a higher capacity drive ?
If so, what about ProDOS's 32mb barrier ?
If it isn't replaceable by a higher capacity drive, then what about something
newer and more reliable like the zillions of surplus powerbook 20mb drives
out there ?
thanks ...
- Jonathan
