One of my favorites on the Apple ][+ was "Serpentine".  I forget who
made it.  Move your snake around the maze, eating other snakes (from
behind if they were bigger than you, head on if you were bigger).
Avoid getting totally eaten by others (although it was nice to remain
somewhat short, since the shorter you were, the faster you moved).
The rear piece of a snake would sometimes turn into an egg (if you
laid an egg and protected the little snake until it got "home", it was
an extra life -- if an enemy laid an egg, it became another enemy you
had to beat).  A frog would come out and eat eggs, too.  It wasn't the
most complicated game in the world, but very well-done.  I know it
also came out for the Atari computers.  I wish someone would make a
version of it for the Super-Nintendo. :-)
