I thought that he had already built many operational prototypes, then
redesigned the card. How do you know that this is the final version?
Forget prototype dates, when will production and sales begin?

What does he mean by "image planes"? Is this analogous to multiple hires
pages, thus allowing page swapping? If so, how will this be visually better
than using a single page while turning shadowing on and off?

It's great to hear of some good news, even if it's just vaporware for now.
As much as I would like to believe it, I don't think I will until it
actually goes on sale.
