The GS graphics are just fine, resolution wise. And, apparently, SLIP
connections are becoming more available and reasonable in price. In fact, I
made a few phone calls today, and found that some of my local Internet
Service Providers (netcom and crl) will supply a SLIP connection for
$2/hour, with the usual less than $20/month rate in effect when you're not
using that connection. Heck, I've been paying $2/hour to use the net all
along.
I too believe the Mosaic source is public domain.
So, all that's missing is for some GS programmer to port the code.
Now...that would be one worthy project for a group of people to tackle.
