PCT Trouble? HELP

I am having trouble getting my PC Transporter working. I have a GS ROM 01,
RamFAST SCSI (slot 6), PCT (slot 7), 1 MB Ram, 1 3.5", dual 5.25 Transdrive. I
have read through the manual and must be missing something.

I get as far as launching the PCT system, get the AE BIOS printed on screen
then it moves to LOADING FROM DISK and then it locks up.

I had the transdrives plugged directly into the PCT DB19, then the Apple 3.5
into the transdrive and it never made the access lights, light up. I can hear
the constant running sound of the transdrive but nothing happens. I actually
never got the 3.5 light to light up and it doesn't show up during the finder.
The only way I see it is if I plug it into the smartport. I took the
transdrives out and plugged the 3.5 into the PCT DB19 and the same thing
happened, no light or 3.5 shows up. If anyone can tell me what I may be doing
wrong I'd appreciate it. The PCT checks out as being good but I am not sure if
that can test the DB19 to see if its actually functioning properly.

I have also changed the number of disks that are recognized by PCT but that
doesn't seem to help. When I have the PCT configured for the 2 transdrives,
the 3.5 and the RAMDISK (RAMAEPC) when I go back to GS/OS finder it shows the
two 5.25s (TDs) as not being readable and ask to initialize or Eject. When I
initialize no lights light up and the system reports the disks are write
protected. HELP!
