Dream on!  It is a rather large book.  I haven't seen Apple's version
of the TrueType specification, only the Windows version.  It is a book
of about 200 pages.

You can probably buy the TrueType specification from the Apple
Programmers and Developers Association (APDA) at Apple.

I doubt that it will tell you how to download TrueType fonts to a
printer, though.  Postscript printers other than the Apple LaserWriter
IIf and IIg require a postscript program downloaded which will
interpret the truetype font.  The IIf and IIg have TrueType support
built in.  There may be later programs which support this too.
