Yes!

To delete a folder/directory, use whatever method you normally use to
delete files.  There is one restriction: you have to delete all the
files inside the directory before you can delete the directory.

If you're doing this on a IIgs from Finder, it is dead easy: drag the
folder into the Trash.  Finder will delete the contained files as well
as the folder.

A few other programs can do this, but most ProDOS-8 utilities only
support deleting an empty directory.


If you have further subdirectories inside the directory you want to
delete, you have to delete all the files in the innermost subdirectory
first, then work your way out until you have deleted the "highest"
directory that you want to get rid of.

You cannot delete the "root" directory (you could "erase" or
"initialize" the disk, which would recreate the root directory without
any files in it).
