Someone just uploaded a program called Music Composer 2.0 to AOL,
which (although I haven't tried that direction yet), allows you to
load midisynth, and export to midi. It will also do the reverse,
although you have to assign instruments to channels manually. If
someone can't do it for free, I'll post it to cba2.
