The question is why is he selling it ? Why would someone go out and pay
over $100 for GBBS when they can get METAl for FREE which is a hell of
a lot better then GBBS will EVER be. Even with all the mods in the world
GBBS is not nearly as good nor comes close to Futurevision/FV. The only
thing that GBBS has going is the Zmodem and YmodemG that those were NOT
produced by Lance but by Andy Nicolas (author of ShrinKit) for use with
SuperTAC wich again was NOT program by Lance but by Larry Hawkings et.al!
Ever since Greg Sheifer(sp) sold it to Lance, its been downhill! GBBS
is a thing of the past!
 
If anyone wants to pay for a BBS but ProLine 3.0 which is just as much as
what lance charges for GBBS and its better then GBBS AND supported!
If Lance does not want to see GBBS die then release it as shareware just
like TC Wilson did with Metal!
 
Now to change the topic what ever happend to LLUCE ? The Sysop of the former
Appleholics (not be confused with the 'new' appleholics run by a different
sysop under METAL with permision) send in the payment for LLUCE and the check
was sure cashed within a couple of days. But to this day NO LLUCE has arived
at his home as advertised and claimed by Lance! That just tops it all off!
 
Get METAL or ProLine forget GBBS!!!
