I would love to buy such a CD-ROM!!
I don't have a CD-ROM drive yet, but if such a CD-ROM comes out,
then it's enough incentive to get the drive; and I can also clear my hard
disk of all the stuff. :)

Yes, $40-60 is a reasonable price range.

Anything! All I want is for such a CD-ROM to become a reality!
OK, serious, I would want most (all, if possible) files to be executable
from the CD-ROM itself, without the need to copy them over to a hard disk
in order to run them. I know the French 3.5" disk demos are not
launchable but for other applications, _please_ make sure they are
launchable and not just some file/disk archives.
