For what it's worth, I recently bought a 270MB disk from LaCie and love it. The fan is a bit noisy at times, and I was surprised by the 25 pin connectors on the drive itself, but, on the whole, I'm completely satisfied. -- Jim Wong (jimwong@owlnet.rice.edu)
