I tend to agree with the positive remarks regarding the power PC.  In
fact, I plan to buy one of the MPC 601-based Macintoshes when they
come out early in '94 (although I'll wait to read about how good they
are, and to get opinions of less patient people than I).  

However, I'm hanging onto my IIGS, and I plan to get MPW and the MPW
IIGS assembler to do cross-development for the IIGS.  But that kind of
sheer power is awfully attractive. :)

(forgive typos -- I'm calling in on my dad's Windoze machine -- it
doesn't appear to know what a backspace is).
