Me too. I figure I have to get a Powerbook to be able to fit both
machines wherever I am and to transport both.

That's funny. I have the same problem on my Dad's Mac - I copy/paste
from TeachText to avoid it. _Some_ programs understand backspace (tcsh),
 but many do not (ftp, nn). I never have this problem with Proterm on my IIGS.
