MouseTalk and parallel printer

I need some help with a problem I'm having with MouseTalk (v1.5).  I can't
get my printer to work with it.  I've tried to enter various control characters

into the printer setup menu but nothing worked.
BTW, my setup is as follows:
Laser 128EX with 1meg RAM, 2 drives (5.25), Star NX1000 rainbow printer in
port #1.
 The manual is of no help, I guess that it assumes if you have an Apple
you're using an Imagewriter.
Any help will be apreciated.                   John
