Re: Apple ][ emulator on the PC still around?

The same company who writes ][ in a Mac also makes a program called ][ in a
PC. Some of its features:
- Transfer apple files from 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 disks
- Converts AppleWorks files to text files
- Supports ProDOS, DOS 3.3 and Apple Pascal
- Full Color!
- Sets up a 128K Apple //e with color High Res graphics, joy stick
support, serial and parallel output, clock, hard disk support, 80 column
support.
The Bad News:
- REQUIRES IBM PS/2 or IBM PC/AT with VGA adn 3 1/2" disk drive.
- Access to an Apple II with serial card for transferring sofware.
- Disk access is simulated with serial transfer.

I talked to the guy who owns the company. Seems like the person who wrote
][ in a Mac left the company years ago so its not going to be updated.
Maybe Quality should make a deal with him. I'd be nice to see the pick up
both of those programs and spiff them up to modern standards.
They're a hard company to find as they don't normally advertise their ][
programs anymore. I found them in the Macintosh Product Registry: A
quarterly that catalogs just about every Mac program and periphial out
there. 6200 products last count. (Compare that to the hundred or so you
normally see in a mail order catalog)
