I'm not sure if the date has anything to do with it, but AWGS trashes my 
DB file all the time.  It seems the more I work with it before saving, 
the better the chance of it getting trashed.  What I do now is add names 
into a template file which is smaller and doesn't seem to get trashed, 
and then cut & paste them in.  That way, if the file gets trashed, I 
don't have to retype the info.  A few times (like on Dec 21 btw), it's 
REFUSED to save my file without trashing it.  So what I do is save it as 
ASCII, open a blank template of the file and import the information back 
into it.  That seems to solve the problem.  This problem has increased a 
lot as my file has gotten bigger.  ALWAYS keep a backup of your DB file 
and don't Save As... to your backup until you quit to the finder and 
check the size of the DB file and make sure it's OK.  What I do now is 
duplicate the file in the finder once I know it's good and make my backup 
that way.  Quality Computers does know about the bug.  I ranted and raved 
about it on GEnie a few days ago and it's come up several times before.
