Twilight and GS/OS 6.0.1

I have been having problems with Twilight and GS/OS.  Nothing major,
but these are the symptoms:
1) When the screen times out and Twilight takes over, it works fine, but when
you try to return to the program, the border color changes to some random
color.
2) When using ProTerm3.1, and communicating to a remote site, it causes
random characters to disappear from the screen.  I confirmed this by turning
Twilight off and trying again, and none of these problems occurred.

My guess is that Twilight is causing some interrupts which GS/OS 6.0.1 does
not understand fully.  Or else it's simply not fully compatible with 6.0.1.

So, my question is, is there a newer version of Twilight I should use that
does not produce these problems? I don't remember the version number of mine,
but the date was Aug 1990, I believe.  I don't think it's Twilight II.
