Formatting SCSI with Mac in Mind

I remember there is a way to format a hard disk on the IIGS so that it
will be recognized by a Mac. It involved getting a generic SCSI driver
and sticking it in the resource fork of the
*:system:drivers:GenericMacSCSI file or something like that. I have
forgotten the specifics and need to use this function. Could someone
help me out or show me where to look?

Thanks,

Will
