APPLEWORKS Q'S: NEW ONES

Thanks to all who were able to respond to my last posting, re pin-outs 
for the //c.  I take it as standard now that ALL //c's were shipped with 
128k RAM.  

What do users out there use for communications software ?  Is it not 
possible for Apple/Claris to design a version of Appleworks that has 
communications abilities in it?  Is there a communications module ?  Now 
I have the info I need to connect a modem to the computer but am 
wondering about software to run the modem. HELP.  Thanks!
