First a question: you are talking about "standard" AppleWorks (text
based, with a "file-card" user interface), and not AppleWorks GS (IIgs
desktop program, graphics based, with six modules)?
Assuming you do mean "standard" AppleWorks, then the latest version is
4.0. From what I have heard on the net recently, it sounds like 4.0
was available for a short time, but Quality Computers have temporarily
stopped shipping it while they fix a serious bug.
Your best bet is to upgrade to version 4.0. You are unlikely to be
able to upgrade to 3.0 any more.
Contact Quality Computers about getting an upgrade. The price is
US$119.95 (plus shipping) if you're upgrading from version 1.0. You
can mail-order the upgrade directly from Quality. Resource Central
are also on-selling upgrades.
