There was an article in the 1st II Alive mag about cleaning the print
heads. If you unscrew the head and spray it with WD40 it will disolve
the dried ink and unjam the pin. You have to run the printer test without
the ribbon to dry up the excess WD40.
I did it on my Star 1000R and it worked fine! It was a lot better than
buying a new print head! :)
